Rick R. Mayer

Mr. Mayer is a partner in the law firm of Lawson & Mayer. Since 1993, his practice has been devoted to representing clients in litigation involving trusts, probate estates, conservatorships, and related matters. Mr. Mayer is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and he aggressively represents elderly clients throughout California who have been victimized by fraud, undue influence, neglect and abuse. He is also a member of numerous other professional organizations, including the Trusts and Estates Section and the Litigation Section of the California State Bar Association, and the Probate Section of the El Dorado County Bar Association. Mr. Mayer has served as President of the El Dorado County Bar Association, as a member of the Board of Trustees of the El Dorado County Law Library, and as a judge pro-tem.

On the personal side, Rick is a terrific skier and an avid outdoorsman. He recently hiked the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. He plans to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2009. He hopes that his next trip will involve going to the airport in shorts, with his skis, bound for Patagonia.
